This body of work revolves around the idea of recollection and memory, placing the portrait as a focal point and main cultural metaphor for disappearing tenets. The collection discloses the artist’s idea to connect the image of renowned casts as a means to preserve his sematic memory. This practice was driven by the political context which led to the cultural/artistic pillages in the Middle East by ISIL terrorists in 2014.
